Focus Areas of the First Funding Period
The focus areas of the first funding period contained the most urgent questions concerning a philology of adventure and were defined by different methodological perspectives. They formed sites for common research and directed the sub-projects’ work toward specific fields of interest. Each sub-project participated in two focus areas.
